The purpose of the group is to discuss and analyse the widest possible range of philosophical topics from "Right and Wrong" to "Free Will" and "Personal Identity", Art, Science, Democracy and everything between, before and beyond. Everything is grist to the philosophical mill!

Meetings are kept, as far as possible, modular and self-contained so that missing one will not mean losing the thread and, indeed, attendance at an isolated meeting will, I hope, be valuable. We start each topic from scratch so that no prior knowledge or background will be needed though any that is available will, obviously, be welcome.
