This new group is for members who are on their own and would like to join with likewise members of Hu3a to share some social time together. For example coffee or lunch together, adhoc trips to the cinema or local places of interest.

Up and coming outings

Coffee morning on Mondays every fortnight next one Monday 10 August from 10am at the Swynford cafe at Alconbury Weald. Future venues will be announced on WhatsApp.

Haddenham steam fair on Sunday 13 September, to see the traction engine Christopher has been helping to restore.

Thursday 17 September (already booked and paid for) St Ives electric boat to Hemingford Manor 12.30-5. Brunch at the River Terrace beforehand. 

Tuesday 29 September Johnson’s ,Church ??St, Old Hurst,zoo and museum, and lunch.

Thursday 15 October guided bus to Cambridge to visit the Fitzwilliam museum, and lunch.

Tuesday 10 November Baytree garden centre near Spalding, and lunch.

We will have a pre Christmas lunch, and possibly a post Christmas one too!

Other suggestions for the future if there is enough interest: Bletchley Park, Shuttleworth, Duxford, Thursford, Raptor Centre, American cemetery.

Cost is £5 (plus lunch)..Friday 15 May 10.00 trip on the Ladybird boat from Hartford marina, followed by lunch at the Hartford Mill. We are joining with the U3A singing group to make the numbers up for the boat (we may be serenaded on board). The trip last 3 hours.
