This new group is for members who are on their own and would like to join with likewise members of Hu3a to share some social time together. For example coffee or lunch together, adhoc trips to the cinema or local places of interest.

Previous meetings

13th November Lunch at Johnson's Old Hurst.. 11th December Blue Diamond Garden Centre.. Thursday 29th January 12 noon Lunch at The Barley Mow (Nepalese) please advise if interested in coming.. Tuesday 24 February, meet at the Cromwell Museum at 11am for a look around, followed by lunch at 12 at Ephesus in the market square.. Monday 9th March 10am coffee at Blue Diamond Garden Centre,Banks End, Wyton (just turn up)..Monday 23 March 12.15pm lunch at The Black Bull, 25 Church Lane  Brampton - 6 going..Friday 27 March 6.30 for 7pm U3A Quiz, Coneygear Centre, Huntingdon - team of 6..Tuesday 21 April morning tour of  Buckden Towers followed by lunch at The Lion - please let us know your preferred day that week and we will book for the majority. Cost is £5 (plus lunch)..Friday 15 May 10.00 trip on the Ladybird boat from Hartford marina, followed by lunch at the Hartford Mill. We are joining with the U3A singing group to make the numbers up for the boat (we may be serenaded on board). The trip last 3 hours. Again let me know if you can come. £10 each for the boat.(NB they still have to confirm that they have a crew for us, it’s all run by volunteers).

Saturday 6th June 10.30 We will visit the Norris Museum and Holt Island in St Ives with lunch at the Floods Tavern afterwards. 

Friday 26 June 7.30pm Shakespeare at Buckden Towers - some of us have already booked, please book direct if you'd like to join us (it is on other dates too).

We're looking at a bus trip to Hunstanton, Whippet ran a bus last year but no information yet as to whether they will do it this year.

As always suggestions for things to do and places to go are always welcome. Once Christopher and I are fully recovered from our joint replacements it will be all systems go!
