I've told some people that the next walk will be from Sharnbrook, but as the Met Office mentioned the possibility of a late heatwave I'm putting that one off.  Instead we'll go to Thrapston for a walk that's a mile shorter and with 190ft less climbing than Sharnbrook.

We meet on Wednesday 14th October, at 9.45 ready for a 10.00 start, at the parking area on Meadow Lane, OS grid SP994790, nearest postcode NN14 4GD, w3w barrel.acrobats.posting.  The parking area is some way beyond the Meadows Surgery.

The walk is 5.2 miles, going past lakes and river to Aldwincle then returning mainly via grass fields with views over the lakes.

Lunch is booked at the Woolpack at Islip, just across the bridge from Thrapston.  It has been recced!  Could I have your menu choices by the evening of Saturday 5th, please?
